Take all the components
from Stage 1 AirBox and ECU Programming
Now add a pair of custom
headers and a set of free flowing mufflers. We take a set of
304SS mufflers (uses your tips) and pair of custom headers
and add them to the system. The result is better power under
the curve while eliminating over 30Lbs of unneeded weight. Add
another 15 HP while achieving a robust exhaust note that will
make just about anyone stop and listen. Why do headers make
such a difference? The factory design uses a flat merge collector.
This means where all the pipes come together the merge into
a single flat pipe. The design we use has a triangle collector.
This means that all three pipes come into a single pipe by
way of a triangle design. This increases velocity and evens
up the flow coming through the pipe. This makes more TQ and
HP in the lower rpm range.
