When first introduced, IA’s
owner, Stephen Kaspar, purchased an 01 996TT for the specific purpose of
product development and testing. This same car is still in use and is driven
on a daily basis. If a product doesn't pass our real world testing, we will
not offer it for sale.
We have established our knowledge
base in the industry with some of the biggest and fastest 996TT built
in house. When we say
in house
(check out our engine builds
by clickig here) we mean just that. It is well
documented that Stephen Kaspar was one of the first and still remains one of
the few "tuners" in the industry that actually builds 996TT motors. Why is
this important? We feel that when you are self sufficient and build
everything in house there is a level of understanding that one can not
achieve by subletting work out. Few if any really do this in the aftermarket
industry. We take a lot of pride knowing that Stephen has personally built
every motor that has come through our doors. We second guess nothing and
know that if we build it then it is right the first time. Nothing replaces
experience.
ImagineAuto continues to lead the
industry in turbo performance. From the original 1975 Turbo Carrera to the
996 GT2, we continue to push the edge in technology. With the introduction
of the 996TT, ImagineAuto formed an alliance with Evolution Motorsports and
GIAC. This cooperative team has tuned more 996TT’s than any other company
in the industry. We offer performance packages that range from our Stage One
with 490HP and continue on through the prestigious GT (700, 750, 800, 900)
series of packages. These kits start at 640HP and stop at 900HP. As seen in
the Excellence Magazine 996TT shootout in December 2004, these packages have
proven to be the most developed yet reliable upgrades packages available.
The 996TT is an incredible Porsche
when it leaves the factory; yet clearly these cars have the capability to
produce much more power and excitement. We have experienced every level of
